FTII Entrance Exam 2017:  Admission Procedure

Started in 1960, FTII (Film and Television Institute of India) is known as one of the best Film School in India. The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) is an autonomous institution offers admissions in various Film and TV courses. Candidates have to qualify the entrance examination for admission in FTII. 

 

FTII Application Form 2017

The FTII Admission Form will be provided via online mode. Candidates can apply for this exam via online through the website. Candidates have to fill all details in the application form carefully. The application fee will be Rs. 3500/- (for general & OBC) and Rs. 1000/- (for reserved categories). The fee payment will be done through online mode.

  • Candidates can fill and submit the FTII 2017 Application Form through online only.
  • The application form has been released from 6th February 2017 and available till 5th March 2017.
  • Exam date-Second week of August 2017 (Tentative)

FTII Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The FTII exam will be conducted through pen and paper based mode at different centres across the country. The exam duration will be total three hours. This examination will analyze the student’s creative skills, logical thinking, general awareness and other subject related topics. The question paper will contain maximum 100 marks.


Students will be shortlisted for orientation/ interview/ Audition round on the basis of their performance in the written test. Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of written examination and workshop & interview session organized at campus. Candidates have to clear these rounds for admissions.

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • PG Diploma in Direction & Screenplay Writing/ Acting/ Editing/ Cinematography    

Eligibility: Qualification: Students must hold a bachelors degree from any recognized university.

  • PG Diploma in Sound Recording and Sound Design    

Eligibility: Qualification: Graduation degree.
Subjects: Students must have Physics subject at 10+2 level.

  • PG Certificate Course in TV Direction    

Eligibility: Qualification: Students should have completed a bachelor’s degree.

  • PG Certificate Course in Sound Recording and TV Engineering    

Eligibility: Qualification: Bachelor’s degree.
Subjects: Candidates should have Physics subject at 10+2 level.
