I want to make my career as a investment banker. I am a B.com. So what course should I choose for my career in reputed leading financial companies like city bank, jp Morgan & goldman Sachs etc.
Unless you're not an MBA from Top B School or CA Topper, it's difficult to get a Job directly as Investment Banker. Apart from knowledge in Accounting principles, Risk Management, Stocks, Financial Modelling, Financial Analysis you are also expected to have good presentation, Negotiating and interpersonal skills. Starting as an Intern, Financial Analyst, Risk Management is a good way to start. Degree in Law, CA and Certifications like CFA, CFP can also be considered as positive Profiles for Investment Banker.
Investment Banking requires competency in Business, Mathematics and Economics. Any degree or Course with these competencies would help you get into Investment Banking.
