There are 3 parameters which should ideally fulfill to choose the perfect career. Interest which is also known as passion, Aptitude which you capability and personality. It is difficult to match all parameters and very few people have the luxury of finding the perfect job. In your case, your interest does not match, but you can still succeed in your job if you have the aptitude to learn new skills and perform. Your lack of interest might lead to boredom, but you can still perform if you have the aptitude for it. Even if you are not passionate, but have average interest, you might think of continuing, unless you feel it is leading to depression or anxiety, then you might think of making a job shift.
